Levertonia 2019: The Future is Now

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been attracting serious attention for a number of years, and in a relatively short time, it has become a mainstay discussion point at board room meetings. Whether it be campy science experiments like playing Hide and Seek and StarCraft II or creating artificial content like novels, fake news, or even deepfake Schwarzeneggers, AI has captured mainstream attention in very creative ways. It has also enabled us to rethink how to solve corporate-level problems for companies around the world and add significant value.

Between 2018 and 2019, organizations that deployed AI grew from 4% to 14%, according to a Gartner’s 2019 CIO Agenda survey. Today, organizations of all kinds are adopting AI as a way to drive efficiencies, maximize resources, fuel data-driven decision making, and gain a competitive edge.

At Leverton, an MRI Software company, we believe that businesses are on their way towards singularity by implementing AI and will continue using it to solve their biggest document and data challenges. Our mission is for every organization to have a more automated, quicker, and better process based on quality data that can be leveraged for advanced analytics and ultimately lead to smarter business decisions.

We like to chat about AI and its benefits whenever we go, but we also like to listen to our customers and prospects to better understand their real-world challenges and needs. And there is no better forum to do so than our annual user conference, Levertonia. On November 14th, 2019, we gathered our users, customers, and partners together for our second annual user conference to thank them for being a part of this journey with us, to foster a strong Leverton community of AI-technology enthusiasts and thought leaders, and to provide insights into the next evolution of the Leverton product.

AI by the numbers

We’re incredibly honored to share with everyone some fascinating data for the first time.

In 2019, we extracted 9.4 million data points. If each data field averages about 15 characters, that’s about 170 miles, or the distance from New York to Boston. This year so far, we’ve extracted 1.98 million pages – that’s about 66,210 hours of reading time that can be spent on other things that people love, for example, binge-watching Friends on Netflix 3x or taking 200 Peloton spin classes. Since our inception, we’ve extracted 7.17 million pages. Stacked from top to bottom, that would be 2,281 feet, or taller than the Empire State Building. Over 12,000 lifetime users have registered on our platform, which is enough to fill twenty-eight Boeing 747s.

These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without our customers. More than anything, we love to see how our customers use our AI-powered data extraction and contract analytics platform to solve various business challenges or speed-up their existing processes. This year, we shared some fascinating case studies:

  • InSite Wireless, one of the largest privately-owned tower and wireless infrastructure companies in the United States, managed to comply with the new lease accounting standards US GAAP ASC 842 by the deadline.
  • LEX Markets, a real estate fintech company, makes it possible for individuals to easily trade in commercial real estate assets in a liquid and transparent market through structured data provided by the Leverton AI platform.
  • QTS, a leading provider of data center solutions across a diverse footprint spanning more than 6 million square feet of owned mega scale data center space throughout North America, digitized and improved their business processes across their entire organization.

We are proud to work with some of the most innovative partners that further provide an end-to-end experience for our customers. Our AI-powered platform is integrated into HighQ’s AI Hub, enabling users to automatically push documents from HighQ into Leverton for key data extraction and store the enriched data in AI Hub for use in the iSheets or data visualization modules. At Levertonia, our partner HighQ discussed how open and connected ecosystems help companies stay ahead of the competition.

We concluded Levertonia with an exciting panel discussion on how to derive value from proptech with thought leaders from Cherre, Skyline AI, VTS, and Waypoint. We talked about some of the biggest pain points and challenges with technology adoption and shared useful tips and tricks on how to get better at implementing proptech into existing solutions.

We were provided with a tremendous amount of support by our new family at MRI Software, who continue to believe in our global open and connected mantra which has led to so many successful customer and partner relationships.

It was an incredible day full of exchanging ideas with our customers, partners, technology and service providers, and industry thought leaders, and we look forward to Levertonia 2020!
