LEVERTON Enhances Due Diligence on Siemens’ Unify Acquisition by Atos
LEVERTON’s smart data management technology enhances the due diligence process for Atos SE, the digital services company in its acquisition of Unify, the third largest integrated communication solutions company from Siemens and The Gores Group. The software was used to extract and manage key attributes of the rental relevant lease agreements in order to provide Atos with detailed information about the contracts of lease agreements, in 43 cities across 4 countries.
Colliers International leveraged LEVERTON’s smart data platform to extract about 7,400 value driving data points from the acquired rental lease agreements, consisting of hundreds of documents. Data attributes such as payable rent, payable rented area, expiration dates, options, maintenance costs, and others were automatically extracted with the artificially intelligent algorithms before they were analyzed and reviewed by Colliers with the LEVERTON Viewer. This enabled Atos to gain detailed insight with the highest possible transparency over the lease agreements.
The transaction is subject to employee representative’s bodies’ information and consultation and the approvals of the regulatory and antitrust authorities. The deal is expected to be closed in the first calendar quarter of 2016.
