LEVERTON Co-Founds European Legal Tech Association

With the aim of strengthening the position of legal technology (legal tech) in the European market, LEVERTON co-founds the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA).

ELTA’s mission is to bring companies, law firms and individuals with an interest in legal tech together. Additionally, ELTA will promote organizations and research striving to bring technology and software solutions into the legal industry. Thus, the association will enhance the further development of legal tech in Europe.

Other co-founders of the association are prominent firms such as Roland Berger, CMS, Bucerius Law School and Baker & McKenzie. Together with these organizations LEVERTON is convinced that ELTA will raise the interest and awareness of legal tech in Europe to new levels.

ELTA actively enhances connectivity between stakeholders in the legal market, ranging from law-firms and corporate legal departments to start-ups by providing a platform for information and idea exchange. The association recently held its first event, “The first Wave of LegalTech”, in Berlin with Hariolf Wenzler (Chief Strategy Officer at Baker & Mackenzie) and Daniel Biene (Founder and CEO of LegalBase Digital) as speakers.

Further information about the association can be found here.
